The law firm of M^e Jean-Philippe Anthonioz wants its website avocat.anthonioz.ch to be usable by everyone, including people who navigate with a keyboard, enlarge the display or use a screen reader. The website aims for level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, in line with the principles of the Swiss eCH-0059 standard.

This commitment reflects a desire to ensure equal access to legal information for persons with disabilities.

The website avocat.anthonioz.ch is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The checks carried out found no non-conformity on the pages of the website, in French or in English, but the content listed below is not, or not fully, accessible.

This statement applies to all pages of the website, including the error pages and the contact form confirmation page.

• LPP letter templates in Word and OpenDocument format (DOCX, ODT, in French): they have not been assessed. The LPP letter generator produces the same letter in an accessible form.
• Online appointment booking: it relies on the Microsoft Bookings service, whose accessibility is Microsoft’s responsibility. You can also book an appointment by telephone.

Official forms and brochures (legal aid, rent deposit) are not hosted on this website: the links lead directly to the website of the Geneva judiciary, which publishes them and is responsible for them. On request, the firm will help you access their content.

This statement was prepared on 25 September 2026 on the basis of a self-assessment of the website against WCAG 2.2 level AA criteria. The assessment covered all pages, in French and in English, and combined automated and manual checks:

• page structure: language, headings, landmarks, skip link, lists and tables;
• text alternatives, names of links and buttons, form labels, indication of links that open in a new tab;
• text contrast, in light and dark mode;
• keyboard navigation and visibility of the element that has focus, including on small screens;
• display on a screen 320 pixels wide (equivalent to 400% zoom), with increased text spacing and in Windows high contrast mode;
• size of clickable areas.

The checks were carried out with Microsoft Edge and another Chromium-based browser; they have not yet included screen readers. On this occasion, two corrections were made: on mobile devices, the element that has focus can no longer be hidden by the top bar or the bottom navigation bar, and icons remain visible in high contrast mode.

The guide to divorce by joint petition (printable version of the Divorce page, with its four appendices) and the English versions of the list of documents to provide, of the simplified method for calculating child support and of the example letter to the pension fund comply with the PDF/UA-1 standard: document title, language, section headings, lists, tables with their column and row headers, notes and bookmarks; decorative elements are ignored by screen readers. The guide was rebuilt to this standard on 26 September 2026 (French version); its English version and the three English documents were produced on 27 September 2026. The French versions of these three documents were produced again in September 2026 with accessibility tags: document title, language, section headings, lists and tables with their headers; decorative images are ignored by screen readers. The structure of all these documents was checked automatically. The list of mediation services, previously a PDF, is now a page of this website.

The child support calculator, adapted to the new website on 26 September 2026, was assessed the same day against the same criteria, in French and in English. Two corrections were made to it: in high contrast mode, the selected tab and buttons remain recognisable, and the split slider offers a taller clickable area.

This statement is reviewed whenever the website undergoes significant changes.

The website is built with standard HTML and style sheets; its fonts and icons are hosted on the website itself. It is designed for recent versions of common browsers (Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge) and for assistive technologies.

It takes your device settings into account:

• dark mode, also available via the moon button;
• reduced motion and reduced transparency;
• Windows high contrast mode;
• zoom up to 400%, without horizontal scrolling.

The bulk of the content and navigation remains accessible without JavaScript. Only sending the contact form requires it, to protect the form against spam: without JavaScript, your message is displayed again so that you can copy it, together with the firm’s phone number and email address.
